Job summary

Park View Nursing and Subacute is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a compassionate, family-oriented environment.

The LVN/LPN will report to a Registered Nurse and perform routine nursing duties, including admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting rounds, administering medications, and supervising care by unlicensed staff.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Medication administration.
• Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have

• LVN with current licensure to practice in the state.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.

Nice To Have

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
• Behavioral care / memory care experience.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
