Job summary

Autumn Leaves Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time 12-hour shifts in Texas. You will work with the care team to execute the physician's plan and provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities include reporting patient conditions, documenting progress, assisting in complex nursing situations, and adhering to safety and emergency procedures. Excellent benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN or RN
• Texas Compact or full Nursing License in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician's plan of care
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions during patient care
• Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events

Position and Schedule

• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Full-Time
• 12 Hour Shifts (6 to 6)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN or RN
• Compact license or Texas Nursing License in good standing
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills
