Job summary

UT Health Henderson is hiring a day shift, full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Rural Health Clinic in Henderson, TX. You will provide competent nursing care under licensed personnel, applying your clinical skills to a defined patient group to support quality outcomes.

Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Texas LVN license, healthcare experience, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Clinic experience is preferred.

• UT Health Henderson features 41 operational beds, a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility with surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center and an AASM-accredited sleep center.

Responsibilities

• As an LVN at UTHET, you are expected to be a competent clinician.
• You are experienced,knowledgeable and skilled in nursing.
• You will be responsible for responsible for providingtechnical and human assistance under the direction of licensed personnel to provide care for adefined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Healthcare experience
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
