A leading non-profit organization in Cerritos is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide mental health and case management services. The role involves planning and coordinating care for individuals with mental illness, ensuring they receive the necessary support and treatment. Candidates should have a current nursing license and strong interpersonal skills. This position may require working in both office and field settings, with responsibilities including client evaluation and collaboration with community resources.
Under the supervision of the Program Head and / or Program Coordinator, is responsible for but not limited to planning, facilitating, implementing, and coordinating mental health / case management services to adult individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

o Knowledge : Basic Computer software programs (Experience on Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet); Knowledge and ability to relate to people with mental illness; Knowledge of DSM-IV and Mental Illness
o Skills : Good writing and oral (communication) skills are necessary; Strong interpersonal and social skills; Time management skills necessary

The employee is expected to drive, sit, stand, walk, carry a maximum of 20 lbs, listen, and speak in order to complete job requirements
