Shift: Days (8hr shift)

Pay Range: $31.25/hr - $45.32/hr

Position Summary

Performs a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician, within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards for a Hospital Outpatient Department (HOD). Responsibilities include patient triage, preparation, assisting with examinations, administering medications, drawing blood, collecting laboratory tests, and patient education. Supervises other LVNs and care associates/medical assistants, ensuring documentation and quality standards are met while coordinating patient flow. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and adapts care plans based on patients' cultural needs. Collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care.

Essential Job Outcomes/Functions

• Maintains clinical workflows by coordinating and ensuring adequate clinical team coverage to support providers and deliver safe patient care.
• Monitors daily performance of the clinical team to ensure efficient, quality care.
• Trains the clinical team in workflows and job duties.
• Provides review and evaluation of clinical skills and performance using designated tools.
• Offers coaching and counseling to improve performance, under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Manager.
• Assists in managing wage and non-wage expenses, including pharmacy and supplies, according to organizational guidelines.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care within the LVN scope.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
