Performs a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician, within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards for a Hospital Outpatient Department (HOD). Responsibilities include patient triage, preparation, assisting with examinations, administering medications, drawing blood, collecting laboratory tests, and patient education. Supervises other LVNs and care associates/medical assistants, ensuring documentation and quality standards are met while coordinating patient flow. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and adapts care plans based on patients' cultural needs. Collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
