Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN I–III) at varying levels. Selected candidates will be placed according to qualifications and experience, and will provide nursing care under supervision at one of our Houston-area locations.

Pay ranges from $20 to $36 per hour for full-time positions, with comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contributions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas LVN license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
• Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population; computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Identify priorities and organize care for multiple patients.
