The Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County who are living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.

Salary: Please note that the job posting rate for this position is $21.05 to $23.34. The salary offered will follow the starting salary guidelines which are typically made at or near the minimum of the salary range. However, a salary may be negotiated above the minimum range depending on applicable years of experience and qualifications.
General Description
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, is responsible for performing moderately complex medical aide work. Assist nurses in obtaining reports and records from medical records. Performs nursing functions as appropriate. Assists medical staff in performing procedures. Performs related work as assigned and trained.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in health care work. Valid Texas LVN License. Valid Texas driver's license, with a good driving record.
