High Desert State Prison (HDSP) is located approximately 96 miles west of Reno, NV, in the Sierra Nevada mountains, near lakes, rivers, hiking trails, and Lassen National Volcanic Park. Its mission is to provide timely, safe, and efficient medical, dental, and mental health care, focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, and public health.
