Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice per standards and physician orders.
• Implements Quality Improvement Program.
• Identifies and monitors patients in appropriate programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and admissions/discharges.
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives and carries out physician orders as allowed by law.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
