Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join the El Valle Detention Facility in Raymondville, Texas. You will provide nursing care for ill or injured detainees under the nursing director and ensure compliance with treatment protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LVN program, valid Texas (or compact state) LVN license, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of related experience. Day shift, full-time, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited LVN program.
Must possess current Texas LVN license or a compact-state license.
CPR certification is required.
Minimum 6 months of related healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Assess detainee condition and prescribe treatment under supervision by nursing leadership.
Assist with provider line; prepare examining room and equipment.
Administer medications and document as required by policy; manage pill call.
Maintain medication control and proper handling of supplies and equipment.
Perform on-call duties as required and respond to emergencies.
