Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Kilgore, Texas seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinic-based patient care under physician supervision. You will perform phlebotomy, take vital signs, collect specimens, assist with examinations and patient flow, and support providers with medication refills.

You will work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, in a full-time role that includes administrative duties and adherence to sterile techniques and site policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates patient care under supervision of physician or RN.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens per site competency.
• Maintains patient safety and vital signs data collection.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, perform basic patient care duties (vital signs, weighing, specimen collection).
• Assist with patient flow and clinic examinations.
• Answer phone messages and relay information to providers.
• Assist in scheduling tests, results, and pre-certification.
• Document patient information and medication refills as directed.
• Administer medications/immunizations per provider order.
• Restock and clean exam rooms; maintain sterile technique.
• Perform routine clerical duties and attend trainings.
