Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN license in the state of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality nursing care to an assigned group of patients and reassesses per protocol.
• Documents findings in patient records and communicates assessment results.
• Implements care plans and performs nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Performs bedside labs, wound care and assists with ADLs as needed.
• Administers medications safely and educates patients on meds.
• Transcribes orders accurately and supports continuity of care.
