Job summary

Ampla Health seeks a dedicated LVN Staff Nurse to provide medical support in our Yuba City clinics. You will assist patients, take vital signs, perform laboratory tasks, and support care plans with a patient-focused, team-driven approach.

The ideal candidate holds a California LVN license, CPR certification, and has experience in acute or outpatient settings. Travel to other Ampla Health sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid California LVN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• One year of acute care or outpatient experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR and primary care clinic procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in person and by phone; escort patients to exam areas.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, and weight in the EHR.
• Collect and process lab specimens; perform diagnostic tests and administer immunizations/medications per protocol.
• Support providers with patient care, education, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, worklists, and care plans in EHR (PCMH standards).
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff trainings.
• Travel to other Ampla Health sites as needed.
