Accepting Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPT)
The LVN / LPT provides direct client care, including medication administration and supervising nursing activities performed by professional and para-professional nursing personnel on the unit. Responsibilities include ordering, preparing, administering, and documenting medication for clients according to physicians’ orders, confirming delivery of all ordered medication from the pharmacy during your shift, and communicating pertinent information verbally and in writing to team members. You will also write weekly summaries on clients as assigned and maintain accurate nursing documentation in the medical records. The job description is not exhaustive; employees may perform other related duties as assigned.
The TAY Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) facility is a short-term, voluntary residential program for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) aged 18-25 experiencing a psychiatric crisis. It offers 24/7 services, including therapeutic and mental health care, substance use rehabilitation, pre-vocational or vocational counseling, medication evaluation and support, daily exercise, health and wellness education, and crisis intervention, all aimed at helping residents safely stabilize, recover, and transition back into the community.
