Job summary

Hanker Systems, Inc. is seeking an LVN for an outpatient clinic in Marina del Rey, CA. The role supports patient intake, vitals, med administration, and IV management with responsibilities across ENT, Urology, Cardiology, and Neurology procedures.

Requirements include California LVN license, 1 year outpatient clinic experience, BLS certification, and California IV/blood withdrawal certification. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN License.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience.
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
• California IV and Blood Withdrawal Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, assessments, and obtain vital signs.
• Review medications, allergies, and medical histories.
• Administer oral, IM, and subcutaneous medications.
• Perform venipuncture, blood draws, and specimen collection.
• Start and maintain IVs according to LVN scope of practice.
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and assist with diagnostic testing.
• Collect and process urine specimens and perform clean-catch instructions.
• Assist physicians with ENT, Urology, Cardiology, and Neurology procedures.
• Support urology procedures, including catheter care and patient preparation.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers.
• Provide medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Follow infection control, isolation precautions, and patient safety standards.
• Assist with oxygen administration and basic respiratory support.
• Float to other clinic locations as needed.
