Job summary

Tongass Veterinary Services in Juneau, Alaska seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full‑service practice. You will assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries, handle and restrain animals, and educate clients while maintaining accurate records.

Experience as a Veterinary Technician with small animal medicine is preferred; equine experience is a plus. Certification (CVT/RVT/LVT) is required, and AmeriVet supports your career with CE programs at no cost.

Located in Juneau, Alaska, Tongass Veterinary Services is a full-service veterinary hospital providing high-quality medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, and horses. The practice offers comprehensive services ranging from wellness and preventive care to dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory and pharmacy services. With a skilled and compassionate team, Tongass is committed to creating a friendly, caring environment built on trust while providing individualized care for every patient and their family.

We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Veterinary Technician, experience with small animal medicine, and flexible availability. Equine experience is a plus.
