Job summary

Alpine Veterinary Hospital in Cabin John, MD is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of veterinary nursing experience and is credentialed as an RVT, LVT, or CVT. This on-site role focuses on surgical support and patient care.

You will assist with surgeries, monitor anesthesia, provide inpatient care, and help strengthen the skills of the technician team. Compensation ranges with experience, plus a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed or credentialed RVT, LVT, or CVT with 2+ years of experience
• Strong surgical and inpatient nursing skills
• Comfort with anesthesia monitoring and IV catheter placement

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia
• Provide high-quality nursing and inpatient care
• Recover surgical and hospitalized patients
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
• Administer medications and injections
