Job summary

Chewelah Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of veterinary technician experience, Washington licensure, and proficiency in anesthesia, surgical assistance, dentistry, radiography, and client communication in a busy general practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington
• Proficiency in anesthesia, monitoring, recovery, surgical assistance, dental procedures, radiography
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
• In-house diagnostics and record-keeping
• Client education and compassionate communication
• Team-based collaborative care

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assist in surgery and dental procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Discuss treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients
