Job summary

GoodVets, a nationwide network of animal hospitals, seeks a Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician to deliver high-quality care alongside our doctors. You will perform venipuncture, monitor anesthesia, assist surgeries and dental procedures, and educate pet owners as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires strong technical skills, calmness under pressure, and a growth mindset to support excellent patient outcomes and compassionate client service.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT).
• Clinical experience in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.
• Calm, focused demeanor under pressure in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters accurately.
• Conduct radiographic imaging and assist in diagnostics with safety.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide intra-operative support.
• Perform physical exams and assess patient wellbeing.
• Prepare patients and surgical suites; assist with dental procedures.
• Care for hospitalized patients and support family education.
• Maintain medical records and reinforce treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain a low-stress environment.
