Pine City Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in Pine City, MN. You will room patients, assist in surgery, restrain animals, place IV catheters, draw blood, educate clients, and operate lab equipment. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

Current veterinary technician license is required.
1+ year experience as a licensed veterinary technician.
Experience with proper animal restraint and handling.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to cover rotating Saturdays and occasional extra hours.

Responsibilities

Room patients and assist in exams.
Assist in surgery and monitor anesthesia as needed.
Place IV catheters and draw blood.
Educate clients on pet care and post-care instructions.
Operate standard laboratory equipment and maintain medical records.
Be a positive, collaborative team member.
