Lakefield Veterinary Group in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Certified or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our seven-doctor general practice. We value wellbeing, compassion, and collaboration among our team.

We are looking for someone proficient in anesthesia monitoring, blood draws, catheter placement, and client education, with a strong interest in surgery and a willingness to cover a monthly half-day Saturday shift. Join a supportive, growth-focused team and help us deliver outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Certified or Licensed Veterinary Technician with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Proficient in animal handling, blood draws, catheter placement and anesthesia monitoring.
• Comfortable with client education and communication.
• Interested in surgery and willing to work in the surgery department multiple days a week.
• Open to one half-day Saturday shift per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia monitoring and assist with surgeries as needed.
• Perform blood draws, catheter placement and routine veterinary tasks.
• Educate clients about care plans and treatments.
• Support the team in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
