Job summary

Northside Veterinary Clinic in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or license-eligible candidate. You will support veterinarians with exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery, perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, and maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• LVT certification or NY license eligibility is required.
• Surgical experience is required.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean and stocked.

Education
