Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years Surgical and Dental Experience.
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (required).
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in exams, procedures, and surgeries under veterinarians.
• Perform diagnostic tests including lab work, digital radiography, and dental procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery or treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Educate clients on pet care, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain and clean equipment, exam rooms, and surgical areas.
• Assist in the management of medical records using Cornerstone.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to develop hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to develop hospital protocols and ensure the best care for patients.
• Help train and support our team of technicians and assistants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years Surgical and Dental Experience.
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency with diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• Comfortable with medical technology, including Cornerstone, digital radiology systems and laboratory equipment.
