Cumberland Animal Clinic in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-time team. You will provide patient care, assist with exams and surgeries, maintain records, and support clients with compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed veterinary technician.
• Experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• Knowledge of nursing care, medications, and record-keeping.
• Ability to assist during surgeries and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements through exams, records review, labs, and imaging.
• Provide nursing care: vital signs, meds, vaccines, wound care.
• Assist during examinations and surgeries with supplies and patient handling.
• Maintain medical records with accurate documentation of conditions and changes.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Release pets post-care with proper grooming and handoff to owners.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and legal requirements.

LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT credentials

Veterinary experience
