Blue Cross Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a busy three‑doctor practice in Michigan. The successful candidate will room patients, assist in surgery, place IV catheters, operate x-ray and in‑clinic lab equipment, and dispense medications under the veterinarian's guidance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with Michigan license and VTNE passed.
• 1+ year hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience handling and restraining animals (Fear Free).
• Understand the importance of client education.
• Positive team player willing to continue learning.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and assisting in surgery.
• Place IV catheters and manage medications as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning.
• Use in-clinic laboratory equipment for tests and analysis.
• Dispense and administer medicine per veterinary instructions.
• Contribute to training, growth, and flow within the practice.
