Job summary

Waterville Veterinary Clinic in Waterville, NY is seeking a licensed or license-eligible veterinary technician to join our 12-doctor general practice offering preventative care, surgery, dental, urgent care and emergency services for Central New York.

You will work in a supportive team that values continuing education, hands-on training, and collaboration, with opportunities to use endoscopy, orthopedic surgery, blood transfusions, acupuncture, laser therapy and more.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician or license-eligible.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement and venipuncture.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental prophylaxis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care, surgery, dental and emergency services.
• Assist doctors and care for hospital patients.
• Collaborate with team and participate in ongoing training.

About You

A credentialed veterinary technician with strong technicial skills (to include: placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering medications, anesthesia monitoring, patient care, dental prophylactics and much more!)

Anticipated Schedule

4, 10-hour shifts or 3, 12-hour shifts

Compensation

$23-$28/hr (negotiable, to commensurate with experience)
