Qualifications

• Completion of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and the veterinary team.
• Provide compassionate client education and support.
• Safely handling and restraining patients.
• Obtain patient vitals and medical histories.
• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters.
• Administer medications via PO, SQ, IM, and IV routes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and surgery.
• Assist with surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia.
• Perform laboratory testing.
• Assist with digital radiography and other diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and hospital protocols.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you will play an important role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians and veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating effectively with clients, veterinarians, and the veterinary team
• Providing compassionate client education and support
• Safely handling and restraining patients
• Obtaining patient vitals and medical histories
• Performing venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters
• Administering medications via PO, SQ, IM, and IV routes
• Preparing patients for procedures and surgery
• Assisting with surgical procedures
• Monitoring patients under anesthesia
• Performing laboratory testing
• Assisting with digital radiography and other diagnostic procedures
• Providing high-quality patient care throughout the veterinary visit
• Maintaining accurate medical records and following hospital protocols

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinical veterinary setting
• Completion of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with veterinarians and veterinary support staff
• Excellent patient handling and technical skills
• A genuine passion for veterinary medicine and improving the lives of pets and their families
