Job summary

National Veterinary Associates in Michigan is seeking a licensed veterinary technician to deliver clinical care, support surgeries, and perform in-house lab work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Clinical care: Take vital signs, collect samples, and administer medications.
  • Surgery support: Prep tools, monitor anesthesia, track recovery.
  • Laboratory work: Run in-house tests including blood work and urinalysis.
  • Client communication: Explain home care, medication schedules, and dietary needs to pet owners.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Earn an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited veterinary technology program.
  • Licensing: Pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) and hold an active state license.
