Job description

Lilley Veterinary Medical Center is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a three-doctor community practice located in Canton, Michigan, serving a loyal clientele since 1975. Lilley Veterinary Medical Center provides treatment for cats and dogs, including dental care, vaccinations, wellness exams, ultrasounds, radiology, surgery, pain management, internal medicine, prescriptions, and nutritional counseling.

Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician in Michigan with at least one year of experience. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to critically think, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases, administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

Compensation: Hourly rate from $20 to $25, commensurate with experience. Full-time employment (30 hours/week) includes benefits such as medical, vision, dental, 401K, and PTO.
