Job summary

Pine City Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our organized, compassionate team. The ideal candidate will room patients, assist in surgery, restrain and handle animals, place IV catheters, draw and run bloodwork, educate clients, and use laboratory equipment.

This full-time on-site role offers starting pay of $20/hr based on experience, with rotating Saturdays and benefits through AmeriVet.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with current license.
• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary technician role.
• Ability to restrain and handle animals properly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Willingness to cover rotating Saturdays and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist during surgeries.
• Place IV catheters and draw/run bloodwork.
• Educate clients and operate laboratory equipment.
• Be a positive team player and support clinic operations.
