Ardsley Veterinary Associates in Ardsley, NY, is seeking a licensed veterinary technician for a fast-paced general practice. You will perform animal restraint, triage, sample collection, and assist with diagnostics, surgeries, anesthesia, and patient care.

We value strong client communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team. Training is available for new grads or VTNE-eligible candidates. Evening and some Saturday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician with proper state licensure.
• 1+ years professional experience preferred.
• Willingness to train a new grad or VTNE-eligible candidate.
• Strong client communication and precise record keeping.
• Ability to handle animals in a low-stress environment.
• Some Saturday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Restrain animals for exams and procedures, triage incoming patients.
• Collect and analyze lab samples and assist with diagnostics.
• Assist with surgeries, anesthesia management, and patient care.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients and team.
• Set up and assist with radiographs and hospital workflow.
