Job summary

Pure Paws Veterinary Care of Hell’s Kitchen is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our team performs high-volume dentistry and advanced soft tissue procedures, often collaborating with board-certified specialists in internal medicine and cardiology.

You will assist in advanced procedures, anesthesia, and surgeries, with daily opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in New York State.
• Experience in animal care and client communication is preferred.
• Proficiency with common veterinary procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital safety and regulatory guidelines at all times.
