Qualifications

Licensed veterinary technician with valid credentials.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care.
Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
Safely handle and restrain patients using fear-free methods.
Anticipate needs of DVMs to support efficient patient care.
Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate.
Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction.
Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, and recovery as appropriate to training.
Educate clients about preventive care and pet health needs.
