Job summary

Suttons Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited, doctor-led team on a full-time basis in beautiful Northern Michigan. You’ll perform nursing care, monitor anesthesia, assist in surgeries, and participate in diagnostics while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care and monitoring, including treatments and anesthesia supervision.
• Assist veterinarians with surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
• Educate clients on treatments and care plans.
• Support rapid, accurate charting and record-keeping.
