Carolina Forest Veterinary Hospital – Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our fast-paced, 7-doctor practice focused on dogs and cats. We value teamwork, mentorship, and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will assist doctors with diagnostics, venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, dental care, and client education, while maintaining accurate records in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment. Competitive hourly pay: $20–$24 with a $1500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Active LVT credentials.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and IV catheter placement.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with appointments, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Perform venipuncture and laboratory sample collection.
• Administer medications and vaccines per protocol.
• Provide client education on preventive care and treatment plans.
• Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
• Perform dental cleanings and complete dental charting.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
