Job summary

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & ICU team in Shoreline. This full-time role offers 4 nights on, 3 off (9pm–8am) with competitive pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work in a 24/7 hospital performing triage, critical care, and advanced procedures alongside veterinarians and other specialists. We support growth, mentorship towards VTS credentials, and a positive team culture with

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LVT license or ability to obtain before start.
• ER, ICU, or specialty experience preferred; training available for motivated candidates.
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess incoming emergency patients.
• Provide nursing care and continuous monitoring for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, fluids, and advanced treatments.
• Assist with emergencies, diagnostics, anesthesia, and sedation.
• Collect lab samples, run tests, and support radiology.

Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician (LVT) - ER & ICU at the Animal Medical Center of Seattle in Shoreline, WA

Schedule: 4 nights on, 3 off:Saturday-Tuesday, 9pm-8am (Flexibility considered for the right candidate)
Compensation: $30–$40/hr base + night differentials, approximately $34–$44/hr blended across a full overnight shift
Potential annual earnings: $75,000–$100,000+ for full-time overnight LVTs
$5,000 sign‑on bonus+$1,250 CE allowance ($2,000 for VTS) + paid CE time + VTS mentorship

AMCS is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital serving the greater Seattle area with services including Emergency/Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, and Diagnostic Imaging.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Perform triage and assessment of incoming emergency patients

• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams

What You Bring

• Active Washington State LVT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• ER, ICU, or specialty experience preferred; willing to train and invest in the right motivated candidate
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
