Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ohio.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform in-house diagnostics, and maintain medical records.
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional care and service.
