Qualifications

• Active veterinary technician license or equivalent.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures.
• Strong venipuncture and IV catheter placement skills.
• Excellent client education and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Prepare patients and equipment for surgical and anesthetic procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Closely monitor patient vitals throughout anesthetic procedures.
• Obtain complete patient histories and document medical information.
• Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and follow-up plans.
