Job summary

University Place Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our experienced team. This full-time role offers a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with weekends off, supporting preventative care, diagnostics, and surgical care in a busy hospital.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Excellent communication and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient handling and restraint.
• Support preventative care and vaccination appointments.
• Assist with induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients.
• Support emergency and surgical care, including IV placement and intubation.
• Obtain diagnostics such as radiographs and in-house lab work.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
