University Place Veterinary Hospital seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with weekends off, and compensation of $28-$32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials.
• Strong technical skills for surgical and diagnostic care.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint.
• Support preventative care and vaccine appointments.
• Assist with induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients.
• Support emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation.
• Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house lab work.
• Maintain succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and fellow technicians to support workflow and patient care.
