Position Overview

Wilton Animal Hospital is hiring a full‑time Certified Veterinary Technician. Salary is negotiable based on experience and licensure. One year of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics – radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in‑house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician license
• One year of experience in a veterinary practice
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Positive attitude and sense of humor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment
