Indian River Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (no weekends)
Salary: $20-25/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday - Thursday
Indian River Veterinary Clinic is a busy 2-doctor practice caring for dogs, cats, and occasionally exotic animals. We offer services including ultrasound, orthopedic surgeries, oncology, Fear Free techniques, and behavioral consultations.
We promote a collaborative environment focused on growth, learning, and support for our team members. Our leadership prioritizes employee needs and development.
We emphasize effective communication through daily huddles and monthly meetings. Our goal is to earn AAHA accreditation, reflecting our commitment to high standards in veterinary medicine.
Our clinic features advanced lab technology, including the Imagyst AI-powered cytology reader. We seek team members with strong LVT skills, surgical and anesthesia experience, proficiency in dental care and lab work, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
Our Veterinary Technicians handle inpatient care, anesthesia and surgery support, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, client communication and education, outpatient procedures, front desk assistance, training, inventory management, and prescription preparation.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, work in noisy environments, and handle pets that may bite or scratch. Good coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are essential.
