What We Offer:
Competitive Compensation: $25 - $29/hour, based on experience, with annual bonus opportunities.
- PTO: 120 hours
Schedule You’ll Love:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (No late nights!)
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (only one Saturday per month)
- Sundays: Closed

Pine Point Animal Hospital is a full-service, 3-doctor practice caring for dogs, cats, and exotics. We provide services including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and soft tissue surgery. Our team is highly collaborative and dedicated to exceptional patient care.

- Surgery and anesthesia (including anesthetic monitoring and CRI calculations)

Responsibilities
Major Duties:
- Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for in-patient medical care: administering medications, assisting or performing treatments, diagnostics & monitoring, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running lab tests, administering IV fluids, cleaning, feeding, and walking patients as needed.
- Anesthesia/Surgery: Prepare, induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients; clean and maintain anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments.
- Dentistry: Provide patient dental care, ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, and assist with dental surgeries.
- Radiology: Position patients and assist with radiographs, sending radiographs via email.
- Laboratory duties: Collect, prepare, run or submit samples for tests; read and record results (fecals, urines, ear cytology, etc.) as requested by the doctor.
- Preparing invoices, discharge instructions, and client informational tools.
- Client communication for hospitalized patients: provide updates, discharge instructions, and follow-up.
- Client education: teach and demonstrate at-home care procedures.
- Veterinary Technician appointments: blood draws, bandage changes, post-op checks, suture removals, etc.
- Clinic technician duties: assist with outpatient appointments, restock, clean exam rooms, check-in/out patients, take history and vitals, input data.
- Assist with reception duties as needed: answer phones, book appointments, admit/discharge patients.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
- Manage inventory: inform when products are low, restock supplies.
- Prepare prescriptions and medication refills.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb; lift up to 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Endure sitting, standing, and walking on hard surfaces for extended periods.
- Sufficient ambulatory skills for hospital environment duties.
- Work in noisy conditions with animal and equipment sounds.
- Exposure to potential hazards: bites, scratches, anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, medications.
- Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity for operating equipment and computers.
