Job summary

Liberty Pet Hospital in Powell, OH is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our full‑service team. You will support wellness visits, urgent care, surgery, dental services, diagnostics, and compassionate client communication in a patient‑centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RVT license (or eligibility within 3 months), 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience, and proficiency with dental work, radiographs, phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and lab procedures.

Qualifications

• Ohio RVT license or eligibility within 3 months of hire.
• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
• Proficient in dental work, radiographs, phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring and lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine wellness and urgent care support.
• Assist in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and post‑operative care.
• Perform dental procedures, radiographs, and lab work.
• Accurately document patient care and medications.

We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Liberty Pet Hospital in Powell, Ohio!

Location: 8730 Moreland St F Ste F, Powell, OH 43065

Salary: $20-25/ hour, depending on experience

Who You Are:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ohio, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire- 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs
• Skilled in phlebotomy, IV Catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
• Confident with medical math and drug calculations
• Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
• Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
• And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
