Qualifications

• Current veterinary technician license or certification.
• Strong anesthesia, surgical, dental, and laboratory skills.
• Excellent communication and client-education abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Obtain blood samples and place IV catheters
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
• Complete dental cleanings and obtain dental radiographs
• Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and prescribed treatments
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and at‑home treatment plans
• Safely restrain patients using low‑stress handling techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked treatment area
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative hospital culture

What You’ll Do

• Current veterinary technician license or certification
• Previous veterinary technician experience preferred
• Strong anesthesia, surgical, dental, and laboratory skills
• Excellent communication and client‑education abilities
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment
