Job summary

Pine City Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. You will room patients, assist in surgery, restrain and handle animals, place IV catheters, draw blood, run labs, educate clients and use our lab equipment.

We value teamwork, offer CE programs at no cost through AmeriVet, and provide competitive pay starting at $20/hour with a flexible schedule and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (license current).
• Strong knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Experience with proper animal restraint and handling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Certified Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, properly handling and restraining animals, placing IV catheters, drawing and running bloodwork, client education, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive team player. The veterinary industry is continuously growing and advancing, and at Pine City Animal Hospital we believe in supporting our staff to do the same.

Qualifications

Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs. Candidates must be available for occasional additional hours to cover for team members or during busy periods. Rotating Saturdays are required.

Compensation _ starts _ at $20/hr based on experience.
