Pine City Animal Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. You will room patients, assist in surgery, restrain and handle animals, place IV catheters, draw and run bloodwork, educate clients, and operate lab equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (license must be current).
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Experience with proper animal restraint and handling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing for exams or procedures.
• Assist in surgery and monitor patient during procedure.
• Properly restrain and handle animals to ensure safety.
• Place IV catheters and draw/run bloodwork as needed.
• Educate clients about procedures, medications, and aftercare.
• Use laboratory equipment as part of diagnostic testing.
• Be a positive, collaborative team member.

Candidates must be available for occasional additional hours to cover for team members or during busy periods.
