Lewiston Vet Clinic and Eyota Vet Clinic are seeking a credentialed veterinary technician licensed in Minnesota to join our team. You will room patients, assist in surgery, place IV catheters, draw blood, and run bloodwork while ensuring compassionate client care and safe animal handling.

This role requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds and mult-task in a fast-paced setting. The position involves working at both clinics with a 4-day work week and rotating Saturday mornings, offering growth

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed veterinary technician with current Minnesota license.
• 2+ years of veterinary experience required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment essential.
• Cornerstone knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to restrain animals confidently and safely.
• Experience with surgical prep, monitoring and recovery preferred.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist in surgery.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, and run bloodwork.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and confidently.
• Assist with radiography and positioning.
• Dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian.

Lewiston Veterinary Clinic is dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible in the Lewiston and the surrounding areas.

We are actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Certified Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understands the importance of client education, able to confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. This individual will be required to work at both of our clinics.
