Position: Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Compensation: Negotiable hourly rate starting at $25 - $29 per hour, based on credentials and experience.

About the Role

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you will provide comprehensive care throughout pets’ journeys. Your duties will include hands‑on outpatient treatments, laboratory work, surgery assistance, and support services such as admitting, discharging, and client education.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Participate in surgeries and monitor procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act regulations for credentialed technicians.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on medications, treatments, and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain and record relevant health history from clients.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and keep exam rooms, labs, and treatment areas clean, sterile, and organized.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician required.
• Current Veterinary Technician licensure in Nevada state.
• Strong work ethic and self‑motivation.
