Compensation
- $22 - $28 per hour, based on experience and skill level, with potential for annual bonus

️ Schedule
Our team works a rotating 2-week schedule:
- Week A: 3 days (longer days), no Saturday
- Week B: 3 days + Saturday shift, with 2 longer days and 1 shorter day

Major Duties:
- Provide in-patient medical care: administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics & monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, feeding, walking, and cleaning patients as needed.
- Assist with anesthesia and surgery: prepare, induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients; sterilize equipment and instruments.
- Perform dental care: ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, and assisting with dental surgeries.
- Assist with radiology: position patients, take radiographs, and send images via email.
- Handle laboratory duties: collect, prepare, run or submit samples, and record results.
- Prepare invoices, discharge instructions, and educational materials for clients.
- Communicate with clients about hospitalized patients: updates, discharge instructions, and follow-up.
- Educate clients on at-home care procedures.
- Perform technician appointments: blood draws, bandage changes, post-op checks, suture removals, etc.
- Assist with outpatient appointments: check-in/out, vital signs, data entry, and room prep.
- Support reception duties: answer phones, schedule, admit/discharge patients.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Manage inventory: notify low stock, restock supplies.
- Prepare and dispense medications and refills.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier weights.
- Endurance to sit, stand, and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods.
- Good ambulatory skills within a hospital environment.
- Ability to work in noisy conditions with animals and equipment.
- Exposure to potential hazards: bites, scratches, anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, medications.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, with visual acuity for operating equipment.
